PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

Battery capacity is an important B2B configuration decision for rechargeable fan programs. It affects how a buyer positions SKUs, discusses intended use and builds a distribution assortment. It should not be used by itself to promise runtime, charging time or performance: those outcomes depend on the exact model, speed level, motor and product configuration, functions in use, battery condition, operating conditions and verified test information.

For ZIGWO’s current six-product range, compatibility is the first rule.

The critical control is simple: do not specify or market a 30000mAh option for G6. G6 is the Wall Fan family, available in 12-inch and 16-inch products, with 10800mAh and 18000mAh options only. G7 Desk Fans and G8 Standing Fans have 10800mAh, 18000mAh and 30000mAh options in the current product baseline.

Battery capacity is not a guaranteed runtime figure

mAh identifies a battery-capacity option; it does not, by itself, establish a guaranteed operating time. Actual runtime can vary with selected speed level, motor and product configuration, additional functions in use, battery condition and operating conditions. Do not translate 10800mAh, 18000mAh or 30000mAh into hours without verified exact configuration.

For importers and distributors, compare capacity with the intended retail price tier, expected end-user usage pattern, fan size and configuration, target-market expectations, and the balance between battery cost and product positioning. Request configuration-specific information before making a runtime statement in a quotation, product sheet or sales material.

Begin with the product family

Choose the format first: G6 Wall Fans, G7 Desk Fans and G8 Standing Fans. A battery discussion that ignores product identity can create an incorrect quotation, SKU or sales claim. A 30000mAh option may be considered for G7 and G8 only, never G6.

10800mAh — establish the core SKU discussion

10800mAh is available across G6, G7 and G8. It may be considered for an entry or core configuration, subject to the full specification and target market. Define the buyer segment, fan format and channel, then ask the manufacturer to confirm the compatible configuration and relevant product information. Do not make an hours-based statement from capacity alone.

18000mAh — plan a higher-capacity option across the range

18000mAh is available across G6, G7 and G8 and can be considered as an additional capacity option within a family. Selection should account for the size, version, commercial position and final order configuration. For distributors, it can support a two-tier conversation, but the final combination must be confirmed rather than assumed for every feature or version.

30000mAh — reserve the discussion for G7 and G8

30000mAh is available for G7 and G8, never G6. Keep this boundary clear in selection forms, sales training and RFQ discussions. Confirm the G7 or G8 size, version, target market and battery combination with the manufacturer before samples, quotations or sales materials are finalized.

Use capacity to build sensible SKU architecture

  • Cost positioning: distinguish a core option from a project-specific discussion.
  • Expected use scenario: record intended use without turning it into a runtime claim.
  • Target market: review solar charging, battery choice and fan format for the market.
  • Product tiering: give each model-and-capacity combination a clear role.
  • Distributor planning: keep exact model, size, type and capacity together in forecasts, RFQs and samples.

Ask for configuration confirmation before committing

Capacity is only one configuration choice. Confirm the selected model, size, colour, version, solar option and battery before a sample, quotation or product sheet is finalized. Charging, runtime and power statements remain unclaimed unless the exact customer configuration has verified evidence.
